Breaks Ground In
Rancho Cucamonga
Work has started on a workforce housing project in Rancho Cucamonga.
Villaggio at Route 66 is a planned
166-unit mixed-income community
with roughly 80% of the units set aside
for those who earn 35% to 60% of the
area median income.
KTGY Group Inc. was selected to be
the architect on the project at Route
66 and Center Street, near Haven Avenue. The complex is situated near
Victoria Gardens and City Hall. The
10.5-acre development will consist of
one-, two- and three-story buildings
with two- and three-bedroom units, as
well as a 5,600-sf community building,
two tot lots, a pool and fitness room,
business center and an education facility for residents.
Grading is currently under way and
foundations and slabs are expected to
be poured this month. The landscape
provides shading and creates usable
outdoor spaces that are highlighted
by greenbelt areas, pedestrian paths
and gathering nodes for the residents.
Units range from 887 sf to 1,088 sf and
